Comodo Opens New Office In Atlanta
Cybersecurity Innovator to Leverage New Hub Location for Additional Marketing and Sales Support
Clifton, NJ, October 09, 2015 — The Comodo organization, a global innovator and developer of cybersecurity solutions, today announced that it has opened a new office in Atlanta, Georgia to serve as an additional marketing and sales hub location for the company. Global headquarters will remain in Clifton, New Jersey.
Atlanta is a growing hub for technology and innovation with more than 13,000 technology companies, and over the next three to five years, projections show tech companies will invest more than $1 billion in Georgia(1).
The new Atlanta-based Comodo sales employees will focus on the selling of enterprise security solutions with an emphasis on endpoint protection and the containment of malware and cyber threats. The new Atlanta-based Comodo marketing employees will focus on the operations, sales collateral development, messaging, branding and support for the Comodo organization. Both groups will team across the Comodo company, working with global headquarters and its offices across the globe including China, India, the Philippines, Romania, Turkey, Ukraine and the United Kingdom.
“Atlanta is a very strong technology hub and we are thrilled to be able to open our new office right in the heart of the city. From local universities to technology start-ups, the city of Atlanta is a great location for sales and marketing talent with ties directly to technology,” said Melih Abdulhayoglu, CEO of Comodo. “We know opening this new office in Atlanta will be a great opportunity to bring in more great talent to the Comodo family and showcase how our innovative cybersecurity technology authenticates, validates and secures a company’s most precious asset – information – and to combat constant malware threats and cyberattacks that are creating havoc on a global scale.”
“Adding a global innovator like Comodo to our thriving technology ecosystem reinforces Atlanta’s position as an epicenter for tech innovation,” said Craig Richard, president and CEO of Invest Atlanta. “Our ability to supply a pipeline of tech talent from world-class universities and colleges will help Comodo expand its workforce and help to enhance their ability to provide cutting-edge solutions for its clients.”
“The state of Georgia has long been a hub for science and technology innovation,” said Representative Ed Setzler, Chairman, Science and Technology Committee, Georgia State Legislature. “Companies from all over the world are setting up locations and facilities throughout the state to take advantage of the thought leadership, university research and technology culture in Atlanta and all across Georgia. We are pleased that an innovative cybersecurity company like Comodo is opening up an office in Atlanta to service its customers globally, and take full advantage of the technology ecosystem that is being created here.”
The new Atlanta office will be headed up by Kathryn Stover, Vice President of Marketing, who recently joined Comodo from First Data back in July of this year. Over the course of her career, Kathy has been involved with several high-growth technology start-ups and founded one of the fastest women-owned companies in the U.S., making #33 on INC Magazine’s INC 500 list.
The new Comodo Atlanta office is located at 1170 Peachtree Street NW, Atlanta, Georgia, 30309.
