CA/Browser Forum: The Certificate Authority/Browser Forum is a voluntary organization of the leading certification authorities (CA's) and Internet browser software suppliers. The CA/Browser forum is primarily responsible for the establishment and maintenance of the Extended Validation SSL (EV-SSL) standard. Comodo is a founding member of the CA/Browser Forum.

CCSS Forum: The Common Computing Security Standards Forum is a voluntary organization of security software vendors, operating system providers and Internet browser software creators who are working together to mitigate the risk of malware and protect consumers worldwide. Comodo is a founding member of the CCSS Forum.

AMTSO: The Anti-Malware Testing Standards Organization focuses on the addressing the global need for improvement in the objectivity, quality and relevance of anti-malware testing methodologies. AMTSO membership is open to academics, reviewers, publications, testers and vendors, subject to guidelines determined by AMTSO. Comodo is a member of AMTSO

WebTrust®: To increase consumer confidence in the Internet as a vehicle for conducting e-commerce and to increase consumer confidence in the application of PKI technology, the public accounting profession has developed and is promoting a set of principles and criteria for CAs, referred to as the AICPA/CICA WebTrust Program for Certification Authorities. Comodo CA is regularly audited by Ernst & Young which is specifically licensed by the AICPA/CICA to provide assurance services to evaluate and test whether the services Comodo provides continue to meet these principles and criteria.

The posting of the AICPA/CICA WebTrust® Seal of assurance demonstrates Comodo's continued compliance with all required principles and criteria.

Root Certificate Programs – One or more of Comodo's roots are included/trusted for the platforms listed below, signifying Comodo's high standards and stature within the Certificate Authority community. Inclusion in these programs means that these organizations recognize and trust Comodo certificates, and that Internet users will not receive warning messages about unrecognized/untrusted certificates.

PCI Security Standards Council: The PCI Security Standards Council is an open global forum for the ongoing development, enhancement, storage, dissemination and implementation of security standards for account data protection. As an Approved Scanning Vendor (ASV), Comodo validates adherence to certain DSS requirements by performing vulnerability scans of Internet facing environments of merchants and service providers.
